Description Daeja Image Systems started as soon as Java™ became a viable technology for Web based applications. By the end of 1997 the Java standard had been released and accepted by the development community as an answer to many problems faced by all application developers, namely portability, stability and maintainability. These are of course issues for everyone, but at this time, though many vendors were praising Java's capabilities, the benefits had yet to be fully realised by the user community. Daeja Image Systems was formed in November 1997 with the specific aim of taking advantage of this emerging technology within the realms of document imaging. |
