Description
Tenable Network Security is leading the development of the Nessus project. Tenable's founder, Renaud Deraison, continues to maintain Nessus along with Tenable's research and development staff. Nessus is available for most flavors of UNIX and performs more than 4000 different vulnerability checks. It was selected as PC Magazine's 2003 Open Source Product of the year and is in use in more than 75,000 unique organizations worldwide.
