Lattice has three ispDOWNLOAD® Cable products for the PC designed to facilitate in-system programming of all Lattice ISPTM devices on a printed circuit board directly from the parallel port. After completion of the logic design and creation of a JEDEC file by the ispDesignEXPERTTM, ispGDX®, ispGDS® Compiler, or PAC-DesignerTM software, Lattice’s ispVMTM System Software programs devices on the end-product PC board.
The new design, with fly-wire connectors to the target system board, supports programming of all devices with 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, 5.0V core voltages. The cable includes a buffered 25-pin parallel port connector and a 6’ cable with an RJ45 connector to the parallel port adapter and 8 individual signal wires, clearly labeled, for connection to the target system board. The fly-wire design cable also includes adapters for easy interface to Lattice’s 1x8 and 2x5 programming configurations. |
