ABSTRACT:
The iMarkup Workgroup Server provides a simple and easy-to-use interface that enables users to apply annotations to actual "live" Web pages. These annotations are made using tools familiar to all of us: sticky notes, highlighter pens and free-form drawing tools. Once made, the annotations are then associated to the content of a specific Web page and are immediately available to the creator of the annotation and all other members. All members of a group (depending on permissions) can then add and modify annotations in real time, providing a true basis for collaborative projects.
