MDA FastStart™ is a special program designed and managed by the OMG to help information technology (IT) organizations become familiar with MDA® concepts and rapidly apply MDA to their mission-critical software development activities. MDA FastStart includes an integrated set of assessment, planning, executive seminar and technical practicum activities suitable for both IT executives and their technical staff. Depending on customer requirements, a full MDA FastStart program can be completed in as little as 5 weeks.

To implement MDA FastStart, OMG works closely with a set of OMG-endorsed Qualified Service Providers (QSPs). Each QSP is an experienced service organization that can provide the MDA FastStart program, as well as a number follow-on services. IT organizations are free to engage any QSP (or combination of QSPs) to complete an MDA FastStart program.
