ABSTRACT:
Service simulation - the ability to mimic producer services even before they are implemented - enables consumer developers and QA professionals to parallelize their efforts without having to wait for service implementation to complete. Service simulation also enables corporations to provide portable alternative to building an expensive reference environment. By using a services simulator, corporations can also provide SOA governance through policies that consumer development teams have to meet before their client-side code is put into production. In this paper, we will cover SOA Project lifecyle issues and how best to address them through service simulation.
