ABSTRACT:
The property & casualty insurance continues to seek new ways to be innovative to deliver solutions to their customers. In May 2007, Fiserv Insurance Solutions surveyed IT leaders at some of the leading property & casualty insurance carriers in the United States. From our second annual survey we see new trends developing and others that continue because of their significance to the overall industry.

The goal of the survey was to uncover industry trends for 2007 and early 2008, to track interests and determine the strategic direction of the industry. The results reflect the interests of the survey participants and are unrelated to Fiserv property & casualty solutions.

The main driver continues to be a technology direction that directly supports the business community's need to deliver value. Leading themes included additional business requirements for innovation, customer service, enhanced business management, and ease of conducting business with a carrier.
