ABSTRACT:
This document talks about how to capture performance requirements. As Performance is a big issue today in the lifecycle of a project, and it's a very key topic and something that we can't think, perform due diligence on and raise to the surface early and often in the lifecycle of a project.

Performance requirements are quality attributes that we want to focus early in the lifecycle on those things that deal with quality, performability, scalability. Capturing the performance goals in a systematic manner is a pre-requisite for building performance into an application right from the start, the key is asking the right questions so that we can gather specific and measurable performance requirements.
