The Insider Threat and Mobile Devices: Employees Often Evade and Ignore Security Policies
sponsored by IronKey

In this presentation, speaker Larry Poneman, of the Poneman Institute, highlights the results of a recent study which found that an astonishing percentage of employees admit to noncompliance with internal security policies. These noncompliant workplace behaviors are associated with USB memory sticks, web-based email, social media, and mobile devices. Additional findings include employees' thoughts on the training they have received in relation to internal security and how their general attitudes towards the company affect their level of compliance.

Read this presentation transcript to examine the detailed findings of this study, to see how current behaviors compare to the findings of a similar study conducted two years ago, and to better understand the need for security solutions provided by IronKey.
