ABSTRACT:
A recent study found that the average company with a low level of automation spends $15.70 to process an invoice. This is almost 20 times as much as companies with a high level of automation, those in the top 20 percent, where the cost is $0.74. Unless your organization is already highly automated and in the top 20 percent, you should be concerned about closing the gap and taking your invoice automation to the next level.

This paper provides practical advice for knocking down the barriers to AP automation. It also discusses six levels of AP automation.
